Playtest - 28 MILLIMETERS B.C.
A downloadable game
28 MILLIMETERS B.C. is a skirmish wargame in the spirit of mid-20th-century prehistoric B movies. Gather your tribe of cavepeople, dinosaurs and more, and prepare to fight for survival!
This game is miniatures agnostic, and encourages players to use toy dinosaurs as miniatures! Kitbashing is also highly encouraged.
Battles
28MMBC uses an alternating activations and action point rules system. Each battle features 2 randomly generated objectives, giving each player a range of ways to score victory, and allowing them to aim for whichever suits their tribe best. Terrain rules include iconic landforms of a Hollywood primeval landscape, featuring trees for dinosaurs to feed on, perilous tar-pits, rocky outcrops and ever-rumbling volcanoes!
The Tribe
Individual models are highly customisable with a range of attacks and abilities, allowing players to build a unique tribe, and pick out rules to represent whatever dinosaurs they might want to field.
New for Version 0.4: Travellers in Time
Time portals have opened across the primal landscape, leading travellers from across time and space into the world of 28 MILLIMETERS B.C.! This expansion introduces options to build tribes of:
- Victorian Explorers, seeking to discover this lost world!
- Cowboys, who'll need more than just their sixguns to survive in a land ruled by tyrant lizards!
- Starship crew, searching for a way to escape this planet of dinosaurs!
